Biography

A California native, I've done and seen it all. I'm a Father, Web Designer, Graphic Designer, Video Editor, IT Geek, System Admin, Gearhead, Phone Hacker, Bartender, a Lover and a Pirate... Arrrr. In addition to my freelance work featured on this site, I am currently employed as a graphic designer for FedEx.

I am currently looking to delve back into post production as a video editor. To say that I am a quick learner and I can take directions well is an understatement. I have working knowledge of Avid's Media Composer, Media 100 and I am proficient in Apple's Final Cut Pro 6. I actually taught myself the Avid on my free time. I have increased my knowledge of these programs with multiple classes and books. I have cut 2 commercials for Nokia.

I am very technically savvy. I've paid my dues, crunching numbers and writing code late into the next morning. I've supported hundreds of users on a variety of operating systems over the last decade. I can run and make my own cable, troubleshoot any network problem, crack and secure wireless networks, help the most clueless user get up to speed and salvage your corrupt data off a dead hard drive. It's been said that I snore in binary. I've been interviewed on CNET and involved w/ Defcon. In addition to my tech side, I have over 8 years experience w/ Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and various other design and web applications. Throughout my career, I have been able to acquire knowledge of multiple editing systems, machine room equipment, DVD authoring software, patch bays, video tape dubbing and various video formats. I have extensive experience with video compression and my work has been featured on Disney and Apple's website. I am very familiar with posting/pulling assets from FTPs. I have also worked as a grip and video assist on various film sets.
